High temperature & high pressure equipment

Isostatic Press

| CIP : Cold Isostatic Press

Cold isostatic pressing is a device that applies uniform pressure to ceramic and metal powders to form them.

| DESCRIPTION

  • Technology to shape and uniformly/high-densify high-melting point ceramic, metal, or inorganic powders that cannot be produced by casting into various shapes through isotropic compression
  • This technology uses the principle of fluid that transmits force equally to all directions of the product, and the pressure fluid mainly uses water, and it is equipment that molds products that do not require changes in physical properties due to temperature at room temperature
  • Powders such as ceramics and metals are put into a flexible mold, filled with fluid in a pressure vessel, and then molded under high pressure. At this time, the pressure in the fluid acts equally on all parts of the object, so it has the characteristic of having a uniform density.

| FEATURES

  • Uniform density with the same pressure
  • High density without pressure loss· Desired size & shape molding possible
  • High and uniform molding density allows for precision processing
  • Uniform shrinkage during sintering

| BENEFITS

  • Ultra-high pressure system of 300MPa or more
  • Pressure limit extension through wire winding technology
  • Safety design through ASME U1 U2 U3 high pressure certification
  • Verification of theoretical calculation values through finite element analysis

| APPLICATIONS

Technology that advances the machinery and material industries, using ultra-high pressure generation and maintenance technology to use metal and ceramic materials for high-performance insulators / functional parts / high-strength composite materials / heating elements / special parts, etc.

Display, semiconductor, automobile, and aerospace industries
